About My Art

I bring the beauty of wildlife to individuals who have the same passion as I do for nature and wish to add a piece of it to their collection. I capture the essence of living wild and free into beautiful scenes that can typically only be viewed through nature’s eyes. Realistic imagery is a major foundation within my art because I believe there is nothing more genuine than what already exists.

Conserving the land water and wildlife is a necessity to keep harmony and keep our planet from dying. A large portion of my heritage is Native American and I feel they have more of a connection to earth and how to live amongst nature without destroying it. I am hoping that with my body of work, environmental wellness can be brought to our attention in a spirited light. I would like to make my consumers feel as though they are making a contribution as well and I will donate a portion off of each wildlife painting proceeds to a nature conservation project.

Alongside wildlife paintings, I work in pet portraits as well. Capturing the essence of your cherished pet can be difficult to do with a photo alone and hand painted images can hold extra sentimental value. There is nothing more rewarding than having a pet that loves you unconditionally and I enjoying making portraits of those animals we share our lives with.

If you love nature and appreciate the animals that we share the world with, my art is designed to help you do just that. On the other hand if you are looking to memorialize your pet with a personalized portrait you are in the right spot as I am taking commissions. About me: the Artist

I started drawing in my youth as a pastime, where I enjoyed making cartoon characters and fashioning wild adventures for them go on. Through the years, inspired by popular artist of the time such as Bob Ross (who doesn’t love Bob) Dr. Seuss and by Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in Titanic, I began to explore other techniques. Realizing I had a talent for making my sketches look uncannily like my subjects, I was enthusiastic about improving those skills.

I have always felt more comfortable in nature than I did in the city and I spent a lot of time camping and hiking with my family in the mountains of Colorado. I was always looking to seek out the wild animals and attempt to get as close as possible.

Throughout middle school and high school I worked with many different mediums enjoying all the possibilities. After loosing myself in the hassles of life I finally decided to go to school. I attended Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver, Colorado for illustration. Realizing that wasn’t the major for me and after a hiatus from my art I returned to my passion and left my so called “real job,” or what I saw it as my burden, to pursue my dream.
